Qazi MD Rafiqul Alam

Engr. Qazi Rafiqul Alam joined Bangladesh Railway in 1984 as a Civil Engineer and served Bangladesh Railway for about 35 years before his retirement as Director General (Chief Executive). He was assigned with different responsibilities like administration, policy making, decision making, foreign and local purchase of Civil and Track works of Bangladesh Railway.

MD. Khalilur Rahman

Engr. Khalilur Rahman joined Bangladesh Railway in 1984 as a Mechanical Engineer and served Bangladesh Railway for about 32 years before his retirement. He has experience in procurement and maintenance of railway locomotive, Coaches, Railway crane, manufacturing and maintenance of loco shed, expertise in the mechanical section of Bangladesh Railway. He was Additional Director General (Rolling Stock) of Bangladesh Railway.

Habibur Rahman

Mr. Habib joined Bangladesh Railway in 1988 and served BR for about 34 years before his retirement. He was responsible for Train Operation, Railway Transport Planning, Container Operation, Marketing and corporate Planning. He was Additional Director General (Operation) of Bangladesh Railway.

Shawkat Ali Akon

Engr. Shawkat Ali Akon joined Bangladesh Railway in 1984 and served there for about 31 years in Civil Engineering Department. He has been experienced in Railway Track Construction, Track and Bridge Maintenance, Procurement of Local and foreign track materials, railway infrastructure development. He was Additional Chief Engineer of Bangladesh Railway.

Mrinal Kanti Das

Engr. Mrinal Kanti Das is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer, worked in state owned Power Development Board (PDB) & Bangladesh Telegraph & Telephone Board (BTTB) for 34 Years in various capacities from 1981 to 2015.His Experience include the followings:

  • Gas Turbine Power Plant
  • Diesel Power Plant
  • Furnace oil Power Plant

All types of responsibilities like Technical, Managerial, and Administrative & Financial field. He has got the experience & training on:

  • German Telecom (Deutsche Bundes telecom)
  • Indian Telecom (VSNL)
  • Hewlet Packard Academy
  • Siemens
  • Alcatel etc.

MD Abdus Samad

Mr. Abdus Samad joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) in 1983 as Assistant Commissioner and Retired as Joint Secretary of the Govt. He is experienced in land acquisition, land resettlement, rehabilitation, and performed magistracy in civil and criminal sections of Bangladesh Civil Administration.

Advocate Bandana Banerjee

A post graduate degree holder in philosophy. Having her LLB (Advocate) degree, she joined as a Law Practitioner in the Lower Court (Judge Court) in 2002. Then after qualifying for Supreme Court in 2012, she joined high court of Bangladesh as a Civil & Criminal Practitioner in 2013. She is looking after the matters relating to Law & Litigation.

Golam Rabbany Biplob

Golam Rabbany Biplob is internationally awarded and acclaimed filmmaker and organizer. He has a long experience of work as an event manager and organizer in national and international level. Besides the cultural event management he achieved the skill of consultancy project management. He had active role in the implementation of “Consultancy services of feasibility study and detail design for construction of Dhaka-Chattogram via Cumilla/Laksam High-Speed Railway” & “Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study for Construction of Circular rail line around Dhaka city.”

Shankar Kumar Das

Shankar Kumar Das FCA, ACMA, MIPA, AFA is Proprietor and CEO at Shankar Das & Co. He has experience in audit, tax, consulting and corporate advisory services for multinational and national companies, large manufacturers and a king and financial institutions. He completed his articleship from Rahman Rahman Huq, a member of the KPMG International Cooperative. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) in 2016. Mr. Das also qualified as Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) in 2018. Internationally Mr. Das achieved membership as Member of Institute of Public Accountants (MIPA), Australia in 2018 and Associate Member of Institute of Financial Accountants, (AFA) UK in 2018.Before that he had five years’ extensive experience in financial reporting, auditing, corporate taxation, indirect tax (VAT) and advisory field at KPMG Rahman Rahman Huq, the leading firm of Chartered Accountancy in Bangladesh. He has been running an effective and efficient team to provide tax-cost management with a distinct competitive advantage. This requires the application of appropriate tax strategies proactively identified and systematically implemented.
